TODD SENTYRZ | OWNER, CEO
Todd has been a dedicated part of Legacy since 2006, marking over 18 years with the company. With a background in the HVAC industry spanning more than two decades, Todd's journey began in the field, handling construction and installation. His dedication and expertise led him to various roles, including Construction Manager, where he played a pivotal role in the company's operations.
In November 2021, Todd acquired Legacy following the retirement of the previous owner. Under his leadership, he has nearly doubled the company's profit, demonstrating his strategic acumen and relentless drive for success. Todd’s multifaceted experience includes overseeing manpower, human resources, financial responsibilities, and project sales estimating, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Legacy.
Todd’s approach is deeply influenced by his faith. He believes that the company’s success is a direct reflection of what God has bestowed upon him. This faith-driven perspective guides his leadership and reinforces his commitment to integrity, fairness, and the well-being of both employees and customers.
Looking ahead, Todd is dedicated to maintaining Legacy’s position as a leading contractor in the mechanical industry. JENNIFER ESPINOZA | SR. DESIGN DRAFTER
Jen Espinoza brings close to 30 years of drafting experience, with a strong background in both residential and commercial industries. She joined Legacy Companies in 2007 as a drafter and has since played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and evolution. Over the years, Jen has supported a wide range of departments—including reception, office management, AP, AR, dispatch, IT, and project coordination—while continuing to focus on her core expertise in CAD and drafting.
Jen is especially proud of her work on the Prairie Care Hospital in Brooklyn Park, the largest non-warehouse design-build project she has helped deliver. Today, she develops design-build plans for construction, manages drafting workflows, and oversees permit procurement, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept through completion.
Dedicated to continuous learning, Jen is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with plans to obtain her Professional Engineer (PE) license in Minnesota. She is also an active member of Women in HVACR, where she was awarded a scholarship to support her education in HVAC design and engineering.
Looking ahead, Jen’s goal is to establish an engineering division within Legacy Companies, strengthening its ability to provide in-house engineering and consultation services. She takes pride in the company’s progress and is excited to continue contributing to Legacy’s future growth and success.

NATE SAVAGE| SHEETMETAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/ MANPOWER
Nate brings 20 years of experience in the sheet metal trade, having begun his career at the age of 19 as a member of the Sheet Metal Local #10 union. He joined Legacy in 2020 as a Journeyman, advanced to Foreman, and by mid-2022 transitioned into the office as a Construction Manager—bringing his extensive field knowledge into leadership on the construction side.
In his current role, Nate is responsible for managing manpower for sheet metal crews, scheduling personnel, coordinating with job supervisors, arranging deliveries, ordering lifts, setting up crane picks, and ensuring projects stay on track and finish strong. His years in the field continue to guide his approach in the office, helping him balance planning and scheduling with the realities of field operations.
Nate is well-qualified with certifications including OSHA 30, MPLS & St. Paul comp card, forklift, signal and rigging, and Pro 10. During his time at Legacy, he has contributed to notable projects such as Eat Street, Monticello VFW, MSP Airport, and the Mall of America—work that reflects both the range and scale of his experience.
Known for his proactive approach and leadership skills, Nate is dedicated to leveraging his field knowledge to enhance productivity and efficiency within the construction management team. A goal he once set for himself—being part of larger plan-and-spec projects—has now come to fruition, and he is proud to take an active role in managing those jobs at Legacy. Nate thrives in the collaborative environment at Legacy, where the shared drive for hard work and profitability builds strong relationships across the team. He values the trust and loyalty within the company’s culture and is proud to contribute to its continued growth and success.

COREY BAUER| PIPEFITTER CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/ MANPOWER
Corey Bauer has been a key part of Legacy for 10 years, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in HVAC/R and low voltage systems. A long-standing member of the Pipefitter #539 union, Corey previously served as a top General Foreman service fitter before transitioning into the office. He holds multiple master licenses—including Power Limited, Refrigeration, Gas, Low Pressure Hot Water, and Steam—and continues to further his education while serving as Fitter Construction Manager.
In his current role, Corey supports both service and construction operations, applying his expertise to designing and troubleshooting controls, scheduling work and deliveries, and monitoring materials. His ability to design control sequences and see them successfully implemented in the field has been a defining strength throughout his career.
Corey values the strong team dynamic and family-based culture at Legacy, believing that a positive and supportive work environment is key to success. Looking ahead, he is dedicated to expanding the fitter team for both service and construction, contributing to Legacy’s growth and long-term success. Corey also sees exciting potential in the launch of a residential division if the company chooses to pursue that path. Above all, he remains committed to continuous learning, collaboration, and maintaining a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, making work both exciting and enjoyable.

JIM TURPIN| VICE PRESIDENT/ ESTIMATOR/ SR. PROJECT MANAGER
Jim Turpin brings over 40 years of experience to Legacy, having started his career as a union sheet metal worker before transitioning into estimating and project management—a shift that has shaped a successful nearly 35-year career in the HVAC industry. Since joining Legacy in 2020, Jim has utilized his vast experience, which includes overseeing more than 4,000 projects throughout his career, ranging from small-scale jobs of $500 to large-scale projects valued at $2.6 million. His expertise ensures that each project is managed from concept through to completion with the highest standards of cost-effectiveness and professionalism.
Jim’s impressive address book includes strong relationships with key general contractors, which has been instrumental in developing long-term customer partnerships and securing numerous projects. He is committed to sharing his extensive knowledge by training and mentoring entry-level project managers, helping to build a strong future for the company.
Holding master licenses in warm air, ventilation, and gas fitting, Jim’s deep-rooted expertise and commitment to his craft continue to make him a central figure at Legacy. His proactive approach to managing complex projects and his focus on developing future project managers highlight his significant role in the company’s ongoing success and growth.

john meyer | estimator/ Project Manager
John brings over two decades of experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong background in pipefitting and project management. He joined Legacy in 2021, quickly rising to a leadership role due to his extensive knowledge and dedication. Throughout his career, John has held various positions, including Service Technician, Foreman, General Foreman, and now Project Manager. His expertise spans job estimation, contract management, and project coordination, with a particular focus on plan/spec, government jobs, and school projects.
John's commitment to building strong relationships with general contractors has been key to securing bids and driving the company's project portfolio growth. He is proficient in using industry-leading software platforms such as Procore and Autodesk, ensuring that project schedules are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
With a 5-year apprenticeship through LU#539 and multiple certifications, including HPP Journeyman steam and MPLS City licenses, John is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the industry and leverage technology and innovative bidding techniques to expand Legacy's plan/spec department.
John's positive attitude, combined with his deep-rooted values of honesty, integrity, and transparency, makes him a crucial contributor to Legacy's ongoing success. Looking ahead, he envisions continuing to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth and future.

ASHLEY MORRISON | PAYROLL & EVENTS
Ashley Morrison joined Legacy in 2017, bringing with her a diverse background in retail management and administrative roles across several industries. Initially hired as the retired owner’s assistant, she quickly began expanding her responsibilities and playing a key role in modernizing operations. One of her most impactful contributions was creating the platform Legacy still uses to manage jobs, connect the office with the field, and keep key information organized all in one place.
Over the years, Ashley supported multiple areas of the company—including office operations, service, accounts payable, and project workflow alongside the project managers. This wide-ranging experience gave her a strong, end-to-end understanding of how Legacy operates as a whole. Today, she focuses on payroll, benefits, new hire onboarding, and company events, while continuing to bring the perspective she’s built from her years working across the company.
Ashley is also an active member of the Women in HVACR organization, where she continues to learn, connect with industry peers, and bring back insights that help Legacy evolve. She takes pride in Legacy’s core values—believing that honesty, transparency, and loyalty set the foundation for lasting success—and values the family culture the team has built, something she believes sets Legacy apart. KAMI HANSEN | ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
Kami Hansen joined Legacy in January 2025, bringing with her more than 25 years of bookkeeping experience across industries including landscaping and fitness before transitioning into HVAC. Her background in finance and organization gave her the skills to quickly step into a role that supports both the financial and operational sides of the business.
Kami’s primary focus is Accounts Receivable, where she manages invoicing, collections, and cash flow. In addition to her AR responsibilities, she also manages the backend of the project workflow—supporting mobilization at the start of jobs and overseeing closeouts at the finish. She also provides administrative support that helps keep office operations running smoothly.
Known for her reliability and strong work ethic, Kami takes pride in getting the job done and contributing to Legacy’s financial health and project success. She values being part of a team that shares a common goal and looks forward to supporting Legacy’s continued growth.

PAIGE PINNEKE | SERVICE COORDINATOR
Paige joined Legacy with over a decade of customer service experience and three years in the commercial construction field. She also has a background in coordinating schedules and subcontractors, which gave her a strong foundation for stepping into her role in the service department.
At Legacy, Paige’s primary responsibilities include dispatching service technicians, coordinating materials and tools for jobsites, renewing Preventative Maintenance contracts, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Her extensive customer service background has taught her how to evaluate urgency, remain calm under pressure, and work effectively with people from all walks of life—qualities that serve her well in a fast-paced environment.
Paige holds a degree in Interior Design, where she first learned about HVAC plan design. She is proud of the professional relationships she has built throughout her career and is committed to leveraging her customer service skills to strengthen Legacy’s customer . Looking ahead, Paige envisions helping the service department grow both in-house and with customers through streamlined processes and expanded PM contracts, with a focus on maintaining efficiency and reliability as Legacy’s service base grows.
